Personal Testimony of the Health Effects of Chemtrails/ Geo-Engineering

"I'm repeatedly seeing patterns with apparent geo-engineering activity however, when excessive microwave exposure from wi-fi, cordless phones transmitters etc and other factors can be ruled out. It's difficult to not come to the conclusion that it's having a frustratingly profound influence on my health. What has the world come to when working and living outdoors becomes a serious health hazard?!"

Personal Testimony of the Health Effects of Chemtrails/ Geo-Engineering
posted 30 September 2016

An electrohypersensitive person has provided this testimony.  Such testimonies on the health effects of chemtrails are rare.  We deeply thank him for sharing his story and speaking out about this issue.

Thursday was a lovely day, with predominantly cumulus clouds and little to no persistent plane trails / artificial clouds and a much deeper blue than is all too usual. Natural, crisp sunlight and other natural frequencies were allowed through and by Thurs eve (likely in significant part due my cells having a chance to detox), I was feeling much better and mentally sharper than usual with my electro-sensitivity in much better check than the norm. Despite sleeping in the van cab, I slept relatively well on Thurs night and woke without a headache and with energy which is so rare, joyed to see the deep blue and cumulus clouds that greeted me above.

The skies changed quickly on Friday, with persistent plane trails beginning to form sections of cirrus cloud above the cumulus which continued through the day and eve, with much plane traffic and the blue dimmed progressively until there was total whiteout... Last night I began to feel progressively more rough....fatigued, dizzy, nauseous, cognitively challenged, headache built and electro-sensitivity ever increasing with some intense peaks of signals.

Now the iPhone 7 Is Exploding

Yup, now the iPhone 7 is exploding

by Zach Epstein, bgr.com, 29 September 2016

The world’s leading smartphone makers just can’t stop copying each other. While the company has certainly improved its image over the past few years, Samsung is likely most famous for being an Apple copycat. After all, the company was sued repeatedly by Apple for stealing its technology and designs. And as we all learned, things got so crazy at one point that Samsung even created a 132-page internal document to help its engineers copy the iPhone pixel by pixel. Of course, Apple ishardly innocent in all this. The iPhone maker has aped plenty of features from Android in recent years, and it probably never would have made iPhones with large displays if Samsung hadn’t paved the way.

But now, things have gone way too far…

Concerns About Potential Conflict of Interest in California Cell-Phone Warning Case

Concerns About Potential Conflict of Interest in CA Cell-Phone Warning Case
publicnewsservice.org, 29 September 2016

Allegations of potential judicial conflict of interest have surfaced in a cell-phone warning case.

BERKELEY, Calif. — Allegations have surfaced that a judge in the case against Berkeley's cell phone warning ordinance has ties to the wireless industry.

CTIA, the wireless industry trade group (formerly the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association), is challenging a law that requires stores to post information on proper cell phone use so that radiation exposure doesn’t exceed federal guidelines.

The case was heard in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco in mid-September by a three-member panel that included Judge Michelle Friedland, whose husband, Daniel Kelly, is allegedly an engineer with wireless company Tarana.

Recognition of Electrohypersensitivity as a Functional Impairment (Disability)

We felt that these comments from Professor Olle Johansson in response to a post on Dave Ashton's blog ("Being Electrosensitive") merited being placed here.  Professor Johansson reminds us that electrohypersensitivity (EHS) is a functional impairment (disability).  It is the environment that is sick - "inferior and potentially toxic", not EHS persons.  "The whole environment must be accessibility-adapted... People with functional impairments should have full access to the entire society... EHS persons should be protected under the UN 22 Standard Rules on the Equalization of Opportunities for People with Disabilities/The UN Convention on Human Rights for Persons with Functional Impairments."  Sadly, this is not the case in most countries and there are attempts to move EHS from the functional impairment paradigm to the patient/disease one.

How To Hardwire Your IPad, IPod, And IPhone

How To Hardwire Your IPad, IPod, And IPhone
Environmental Health Trust

Our family has transitioned from wireless to wired. Here’s how how to hardwire your iPad, iPod, and iPhone and other favorite devices safely to the Ethernet.

Transitioning from wireless to wired has been more of a journey than a decision. Our home was not wired for Ethernet, thus we had to learn to live with the inconvenience of cables running throughout the house. I wouldn’t trade the peace of mind, however, and my three teens have adapted well. Especially once we corded their favorite devices!

With a little ingenuity and a few supplies, you’ll be able to enjoy your devices without the added burden of wireless frequencies.

‘The Patient Will See You Now’ Envisions a New Era of Digitally Perfected Care

Patient, Heal Thyself - ‘The Patient Will See You Now’ Envisions a New Era of Digitally Perfected Care
by Abigail Zuger, M.D. , The New York times, 5 January 2015

Dr. Eric Topol and I appear to practice medicine on two different planets. This fact makes it difficult for me to comment sensibly on his books, let alone critique them. Instead, I read along with mouth slightly agape, marveling at this missive from a far-off place whose atmosphere, physical laws and inhabitants bear no resemblance to the ones I know.

Dr. Topol is a cardiologist who directs the Scripps Translational Science Institute in La Jolla, Calif., and also serves as editor in chief of the website Medscape. His title at Scripps, “Professor of Innovative Medicine,” says it all: Like a fundamentalist preacher heralding the apocalypse, he preaches the end of medicine as we know it and the dawn of rigorous, digitally perfected, accurate and cost-effective care.

Contrary to what Bob Culver asserts in his commentary in the Jackson Hole News&Guide on Sept. 21 (“Phones haven’t been proven to cause cancer”), there is a substantial and growing body of independent scientific evidence indicating that non-ionizing microwave radiation from cellphones — RFR — can be damaging to human health.

In 2011 the International Agency for Research on Cancer carried out an extensive review of the world’s literature and classified RFR as a “possible human carcinogen” (published in volume 102 of the IARC Monographs on the Evaluation of Carcinogenic Risks to Humans: Non-Ionizing Radiation, Part II: Radiofrequency Electromagnetic Fields, 2013). The section on cancer in humans lists more than 130 references.

British Teachers Call for Help Battling Tablet Addiction Among Preschoolers

"In Britain, an escalation of problems associated with tablet use among pre-school children has been reported by the Association of Teachers and Lecturers. These include developmental delays in attention span, motor skills and dexterity, speaking and socialisation — as well as an increase in aggressive and antisocial behaviour, obesity and tiredness. A growing number of young children are beginning school without enough dexterity to pick up and play with building blocks."

The other week my very tech-savvy in-laws once again brought up the idea of buying a toy tablet for my toddler. They see how interested he is in pushing buttons and rightfully associate his curiosity with all things electronic with his father’s similar nature. There is one key generational difference between my husband and my son, though: My husband’s first experience with computers didn’t happen until he was close to 10 years old. My son, on the other hand, has been born into the digital age.

Attention Must Be Paid
'A Deadly Wandering,' by Matt Richtel

by Robert Kolkersept, The New York Times, 25 September 2014

Reggie Shaw is the man responsible for the most moving portion of “From One Second to the Next,” the director Werner Herzog’s excruciating (even by Werner Herzog standards) 35-minute public service announcement, released last year as part of AT&T’s “It Can Wait” campaign against texting and driving. In the film, Shaw, now in his 20s, recounts the rainy morning in September 2006 that he crossed the line of a Utah highway, knocking into a car containing two scientists, James Furfaro and Keith O’Dell, who were heading to work nearby. Both men were killed. Shaw says he was texting a girlfriend at the time, adding in unmistakable anguish that he can’t even remember what he was texting about. He is next seen taking part in something almost inconceivable: He enters the scene where one of the dead men’s daughters is being interviewed, and receives from that woman a warm, earnest, tearful, cathartic hug.

"We Are The Evidence" Testimony to the Federal Communications Commission

An Open Letter Regarding Climate Change From Concerned Members of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences
20 September 2016

Human-caused climate change is not a belief, a hoax, or a conspiracy. It is a physical reality. Fossil fuels powered the Industrial Revolution. But the burning of oil, coal, and gas also caused most of the historical increase in atmospheric levels of heat-trapping greenhouse gases. This increase in greenhouse gases is changing Earth’s climate.

Is Addiction a "Brain Disease"?

[Consider cell phone and internet addictions when reading this article.]

Is addiction a “brain disease”?
by Michael Bierer, MD, Contributor, health.harvard.edu, 11 March 2016

There are many good reasons to emphasize the biological underpinnings of substance use disorders. Perhaps most important, the biologic basis of this chronic disease is a strong argument for parity: that is, treating (and funding treatment for) addiction on par with other “biologic” diseases.

The stigma and shame of addiction has much to do with the perception that people with substance use disorders are weak, immoral, or simply out for a good time at society’s expense. Understanding that addiction impairs the brain in many important ways may reduce such stigma. What’s more, the specific type of brain dysfunction may help identify a range of effective interventions and preventions. For example, during adolescence, the brain is at its most plastic — and vulnerable. This is a time when caution and intervention may prove most valuable. The earlier the drug exposure or trauma to the brain, the greater the damage.

All the Ways Your Wi-Fi Router Can Spy on You

All the Ways Your Wi-Fi Router Can Spy on You
by Kaveh Waddell, Atlantic, 24 August 2016

It can even be trained to read your lips.

City dwellers spend nearly every moment of every day awash in Wi-Fi signals. Homes, streets, businesses, and office buildings are constantly blasting wireless signals every which way for the benefit of nearby phones, tablets, laptops, wearables, and other connected paraphernalia.

When those devices connect to a router, they send requests for information—a weather forecast, the latest sports scores, a news article—and, in turn, receive that data, all over the air. As it communicates with the devices, the router is also gathering information about how its signals are traveling through the air, and whether they’re being disrupted by obstacles or interference. With that data, the router can make small adjustments to communicate more reliably with the devices it’s connected to.

How to Think about the Risks of Mobile Phones and Wi-Fi

The U.K. government’s Chief Scientific Adviser, Sir William Stewart, at the tail end of the Mad Cow Disease (BSE) outbreak, told a parliamentary committee [Independent Expert Group on Mobile Phones] that, after BSE, ‘Never again will any scientific committee say that there is no risk.’ His group took seriously the uncertainties surrounding mobile phone risks and saw people’s concerns as legitimate ones. He recommended that children should be advised not to use mobile phones, that phones should carry labels with their Specific Absorption Rates (a measure of how much energy is absorbed by body tissue over a certain time) and that mobile phone networks should be more careful with how they place their masts. He demanded that industry and government fund more research to fill gaps in knowledge on things like electrosensitivity. Following the Stewart report in 2000, the UK officially became more uncertain about the risks of EMFs.

How the FDA Manipulates the Media
by Charles Seife | Scientific American October 2016 Issue

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has been arm-twisting journalists into relinquishing their reportorial independence, our investigation reveals. Other institutions are following suit
It was a faustian bargain—and it certainly made editors at National Public Radio squirm.

The deal was this: NPR, along with a select group of media outlets, would get a briefing about an upcoming announcement by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration a day before anyone else. But in exchange for the scoop, NPR would have to abandon its reportorial independence. The FDA would dictate whom NPR's reporter could and couldn't interview.

“My editors are uncomfortable with the condition that we cannot seek reaction,” NPR reporter Rob Stein wrote back to the government officials offering the deal. Stein asked for a little bit of leeway to do some independent reporting but was turned down flat. Take the deal or leave it.

Nokia's technology director, Matti Niemelä: Mobile Radiation destroyed my health

vaken.se, 30 May 2016 (Google translation with grammatical corrections)

Matti Niemelä is one of Nokia's former technical directors, and has been involved in the development of many of the early mobile phones for Nokia. Matti became seriously ill from mobile industry microwave radiation. In addition, he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). Some studies suggest that radiation can increase the risk of MS.

Niemelä believes that we have been silent for too long about the risks. He is particularly worried about children. But the Vice President of Nokia claims: "All Nokia products fulfill international requirements and limits."

For Tampere-based Matti Niemelä, 44, life was like a movie when he was young.  He was recruited to work for Nokia in 1997. The brilliant young man advanced rapidly to become Nokia's chief technology officer in less than ten years and was involved in the development of mobile phones, access memories, and WLAN Wi-Fi solutions.

In 2007, Niemelä's career came to a halt when his health failed. Today he can only move with the help of a walker. Niemelä refuses to use a wheelchair.

Lucibel and pure LiFi Bring Industrial-Grade LiFi to Market

Lucibel and pureLiFi bring industrial-grade LiFi to market
by Julien Happich, electronics-eetimes.com, 22 September 2016

French luminaire manufacturer Lucibel has launched what the company claims to be the world's first industrialized LiFi luminaire, enabling Internet access through light.

The luminaires support bidirectional data transfers at up to 42Mbps. A USB LiFi module that plugs into the user's PC receives the data and communicates back to the luminaire. The LiFi luminaires require to be connected to an Internet server via a RJ45 cable and compliment Wifi in places where it is not available or badly deployed. The LiFi luminaire and USB key co-developed by Lucibel and pureLifi will be exclusively manufactured by Lucibel in France. LiFi networks cannot be hacked without a line of sight, making them very secure. The absence of electromagnetic waves makes them suitable in hospitals, nursery, schools, and they can accommodate a high density of users in co-working spaces, airports, hotels, or meeting rooms.

Canada: The Increase of Brain Tumours in Adolescents

The Increase of Brain Tumours in Adolescents
c4st.org, 2016

In March of this year, Prevent Cancer Now posted a blog on their website called “Brain tumours now the most frequent form of cancer in U.S. adolescents: Ground-breaking American study.” It is a piece that depicts the staggering rate at which brain tumours are now affecting America’s youth. Not only are these brain tumours increasing in Americans but Canadians as well. Canadian adolescents and young adults are finding increased rates of brain cancer in line with the US findings.

Cell phones emit radiofrequency energy (radio waves), which is a form of non-ionizing radiation. Cell phone use in Canada has become unprecedented with 28.8 million currently in use. Canada also has the 4th heaviest mobile data users in the world. The amount of radiation from these devices Canadians are being exposed to, has and continues to grow exponentially as these wireless devices are now being brought to school, being kept under pillows, and being used to watch streaming content.

Common Myths About Cell Phone And Wireless Radiation “Safety” Debunked

Excellent article from the Environmental Health Trust:  Four myths cited below.

Common Myths About Cell Phone And Wireless Radiation “Safety” Debunked

The public relations strategy of manufacturing doubt has often been used to delay policies to control or reduce environmental hazards, whether tobacco, climate change, asbestos, vinyl chloride, cell phone radiation or other agents. Here we identify and debunk erroneous statements that appear in the media in response to scientific results suggesting that cell phone radiation could be hazardous.

MYTH: “No research has found evidence of a link between regular cell phone use and glioma.”

FACT: In fact, multiple research studies of humans indicate that long-term cell phone use could increase a person’s risk for brain tumors. The latest animal study conducted by the U.S. government finds increases in the same types of tumors found to be increased in humans who used phones regularly for a decade or longer. The World Health Organization International Agency for Research on Cancer classified radiofrequency electromagnetic fields as possibly carcinogenic to humans (Group 2B) in 2011, based on epidemiological research showing an increased risk for glioma, a malignant type of brain cancer , associated with long term wireless phone use. These research studies also show an even higher risk for persons who start using cell phones at a young age.

Minimize health risks from electronic devices
by Adrienne Markowitz and Eileen Senn
Published in the September 2016 NJEA Review

Desktops, laptops, tablets, eBook readers, printers, projectors, smart boards, smart TVs, cellphones, cordless phones and wireless networks (WiFi) have become ubiquitous in schools. At their best, they are powerful tools for education. At their worst, they threaten the physical and mental health of teachers, paraeducators, secretaries, librarians and other school staff members and students who spend numerous hours using the devices.

Physical health risks from electronic devices include pain and tingling from repetitive strain injuries to the hands and wrists; pain in the neck, shoulders and back; dry, burning, itchy eyes, blurred vision and headaches; altered sleep patterns and next-day fatigue from exposure to blue screen light; distracted driving; and various health problems from exposure to radiation.

Mental health risks arise from stress due to raised expectations for multitasking, productivity and proficiency with devices; dealing with malfunctioning devices; student and colleague distraction from and addiction to devices; and intrusion of devices into nonwork time.

Largest-Ever GMO Crops Study Shows Massive Environmental Damage in US
sustainablepulse.com, 18 September 2016

According to new research from University of Virginia in the U.S., widespread adoption of genetically modified (GM) crops has decreased the use of insecticides, but increased the use of weed-killing herbicides as weeds become more resistant, leading to serious environmental damage.

Economist Federico Ciliberto led the largest study of genetically modified crops and pesticide use to date, alongside Edward D. Perry of Kansas State University, David A. Hennessy of Michigan State University and GianCarlo Moschini of Iowa State University. The four economists studied annual data from more than 5,000 soybean and 5,000 maize farmers in the U.S. from 1998 to 2011, far exceeding previous studies that have been limited to one or two years of data.

In change of focus, Hague court will prosecute government and individuals for environmental crimes such as landgrabs
Environmental destruction and landgrabs could lead to governments and individuals being prosecuted for crimes against humanity by the international criminal court following a decision to expand its remit.

The UN-backed court, which sits in The Hague, has mostly ruled on cases of genocide and war crimes since it was set up in 2002. It has been criticised for its reluctance to investigate major environmental and cultural crimes, which often happen in peacetime.

In a change of focus, the ICC said on Thursday it would also prioritise crimes that result in the “destruction of the environment”, “exploitation of natural resources” and the “illegal dispossession” of land. It also included an explicit reference to land-grabbing.

How to Protect Your Kids from Harmful EMF Radiation
by Phil Anderson, jbanews.com, 14 July 2016

How times have changed. When I was a child the only screen we had in my house was the TV. Now screens are ubiquitous. It’s becoming the norm to see children, even toddlers with laptops and tablets on their laps, or clutching on to smartphones.

The kids are happy because they can play games, watch cartoons, surf the Internet, message their friends, and do their homework. Parents and grandparents are happy because it keeps the kids occupied so that they can get on with doing other things. But are these technologies safe… or are our children being exposed to potentially harmful EMF radiation from phones, tablets, and laptops?

WiFi Radiation In Planes – What You Need To Know To Fly Low EMF

WiFi Radiation In Planes – What You Need To Know To Fly Low EMF
Posted by Lloyd Burrell, electricsense.com, 20 August 2016

Air travel is already stressful enough on your body. To make matters worse many airlines are rolling out WiFi in planes. So how can you fly low EMF?

Radiation and Flying

Firstly, airline travel subjects you to significant levels of cosmic rays or ‘cosmic radiation’. When I say cosmic radiation I’m referring to a collection of different types of radiation from many different of sources – the most important being cosmic background microwave radiation.

This is quite different to the EMFs I usually I talk about.

Mobile phone usage has become an integral part of our lives. However, the effects of the radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation (RF-EMR) emitted by these devices on biological systems and specifically the reproductive systems are currently under active debate. A fundamental hindrance to the current debate is that there is no clear mechanism of how such non-ionising radiation influences biological systems. Therefore, we explored the documented impacts of RF-EMR on the male reproductive system and considered any common observations that could provide insights on a potential mechanism.

by Zen Honeycutt, Moms Across America / EcoWatch, 10 September 2016

Glyphosate, the active ingredient in Monsanto's flagship herbicide Roundup and hundreds of other herbicides, has been found in vaccines. Moms Across America received preliminary screeningresults from Microbe Inotech Laboratories Inc. of St. Louis, Missouri, which showed:

  • MMR II (Merk) vaccine had 2.671 parts per billion (ppb) of glyphosate
  • DTap Adacel (Sanofi Pasteur) vaccine had 0.123 ppb of glyphosate
  • Influenza Fluvirin (Novaris) 0.331 ppb of glyphosate
  • HepB Energix-B (Glaxo Smith Kline) 0.325 ppb of glyphosate
  • Pneumonoccal Vax Polyvalent Pneumovax 23 (Merk) had 0.107 ppb of glyphosate

The MMR II vaccine had levels up to 25 times higher than the other vaccines. Following our test, additional independent tests have confirmed these findings at or above the same levels. The tests were conducted using the ELISA method.

A Preventable Cancer Due to Microwave Radiation

A preventable cancer due to microwave radiation
by Devra Davis, jhnewsandguide.com,

With the demise last month of jazz musician, composer and performer Keith Phillips, a brilliant light has gone out of this valley. This event is made all the more sad by the fact that it could well have been prevented.

When he was diagnosed with brain cancer six years ago, Keith was stunned. So was everyone around him. He and his talented, composer-conductor-performer wife Pam Drews Phillips had left their work under the Broadway lights to build a life full of good friends, good health, good music and many students.

Statins: "The Harsh Reality Is that the Side Effects Are Real and Relatively Common"

(Choice of image by Editor of "Towards Better Health")
Why I disagree GPs have been 'misled' about statins
by dr kailash chand, pulsetoday.co.uk,
13 September 2016

On Friday the media aided and abetted an epidemic of misinformation by promoting a new review of statin data in The Lancet, without ascertaining crucial facts. To start with, it is not an independent review. As BMJ editor-in-chief Fiona Godlee said this is a review by the ‘trialists marking their own homework’ of the benefits of statins and rare side effects from industry sponsored studies. But the harsh reality is that the side effects are real and relatively common.

I have been a GP for over 30 years and have written tens of thousands of statin prescriptions in my career. I too started taking statins in my late 50s and I’m Asian, so I ticked various boxes for being at raised risk of heart disease. It seemed the sensible thing to do. Within two weeks, however, I started experiencing pains in my back and legs unlike anything I had suffered before. Mostly it was a dull ache, but for a couple of days a week the pain was crippling and I had to take painkillers. This went on for two years and I had to give up badminton, my favourite form of exercise.

The Church and the urgent protection of life against electromagnetic pollution.

A desperate cry from Laudato Si'

(Letter from civil society organizations to the Pope Francis, in favour of a precautionary regulation of the electromagnetic pollution, World Youth Day, Krakow, 26-31 July 2016)

- Extracts

Dear Holy Father, Francis:

We write to You to communicate to you our heavy concerns about the degradation of the environment and of health which results from exposure to artificial electromagnetic fields.

We turn to You as members of various associations and citizen’s platforms i concerned about environmental exposure to electromagnetic fields (neighbourhood associations , environmentalists, consumers, parents, people affected by environmental diseases of central sensitization as electrosensitivity and multiple chemical sensitivity, health advocacy against electromagnetic pollution, ...) in many countries. Our groups tend to be non-confessional, coming together in them both non-believers and believers of different religions. We deeply respect each other. We are part of the human family. We focus on sensitivity to the environment and respect for life manifested in the defence of our "common home" of your Encyclical Letter Laudato Si’.

iPhone 7 Models: Specific Absorption Rates (SAR) or RF Exposure

"To ensure that the cell phone does not exceed the legal limit, consumers should never keep their cell phone in their pockets or next to their skin."

iPhone 7 Models: Specific Absorption Rates (SAR) or RF Exposure
saferemr.com, 7 September 2016

What are the SAR values for iPhone’s new smart phones? How should consumers use this information?

Be sure to read the latest Consumer Reports safety warnings about cell phone use.

Note: I recommend the use corded headsets or hands-free use of cell phones, not wireless ear buds. Moreover, one should never keep a cell phone next to your body, especially during a phone call, but also whenever the phone is powered on. For more information see my AirPods post.

Fire Investigator Trainer Blows The Whistle On Smart Technology Causing Fires

If you think your “smart” appliances are the “cat’s whiskers,” then please think again! Actually, in my opinion, they are the dumbest things ever invented that have been able to buffalo consumers into spending their hard-earned money to purchase, but have the greatest potential for causing consumers harm and grief.

Recently, I received an email from one of my readers who had to attend a fire safety training session for ‘their’ job. That instructional course was given by none other than a Delaware County, Pennsylvania Fire Investigator, who was quite explicit in his presentation about certain fire causes.

Here’s what the email said for which this sender gave permission to share:

American Academy of Pediatrics: "Parents Should Limit Use of Cell Phones by Children and Teens"

AAP responds to study showing link between cell phone radiation, tumors in rats
by Melissa Jenco, News content editor, AAP,
27 May 2016

Some rats developed tumors after being exposed to cell phone radiation, according to preliminary results of a study released Thursday.

In light of the findings, the Academy continues to reinforce its recommendation that parents should limit use of cell phones by children and teens.

“They’re not toys. They have radiation that is emitted from them and the more we can keep it off the body and use (the phone) in other ways, it will be safer,” said Jennifer A. Lowry, M.D., FAACT, FAAP, chair of the AAP Council on Environmental Health Executive Committee.

Men Should Never Put Their Phone in Their Pocket: Study Shows How Prolonged Exposure to Radiation Steadily Destroys Sperm

Danger:  A review of years of evidence shows men are
putting themselves at risk by storing their phones in
their front pockets.
Why men should NEVER put their phone in their pocket: Study shows how prolonged exposure to radiation steadily destroys sperm
9 September 2016

  • New review of 21 studies found link between phones and sperm count
  • Public health are hesitant to say phones definitely harm sperm - there is currently no way to prove exactly how radiation and sperm count are tied
  • But experts warn this review provides compelling enough evidence that men should not keep their cell phones in their pockets

Despite all the fears about cell phones and radiation, most of us still put our phones in our jean pockets.

It's easy, convenient, and any bad effects are impossible to see.

Over the past 15 years the number of patients seen at the EHC has risen dramatically. It has been noted that these patients have health vulnerabilities and intrinsic and extrinsic predisposing factors that leave them at risk to the effects of radio/microwave exposures. Common symptoms, diagnostic testing challenges and mitigating measures will be reviewed in this talk. Biomarkers of exposure and limitations in this field will also be reviewed. There are gaps in knowledge in the medical community and general public, as well as large gaps in research regarding this medical phenomenon. Environmental assessments both at home and at work need to be interpreted and acted upon appropriately, so guidance from experts and support groups is essential. Cost of mitigation can also be a large hurdle and therefore pearls to reduce exposures are discussed. Finally, future research, public health initiatives and what health care providers can do, will be addressed.

Gene Tests Identify Breast Cancer Patients Who Can Skip Chemotherapy

About five years ago, such a test was conducted on a friend of mine in the decision whether to treat her with chemotherapy for breast cancer.  The test found chemotherapy unnecessary in her case.  She remains cancer-free.  Such tests spare patients needless chemotherapy and suffering.

Gene Tests Identify Breast Cancer Patients Who Can Skip Chemotherapy, Study Says
by Denise Grady, The New York Times,
24 August 2016

When is it safe for a woman with breast cancer to skip chemotherapy?

A new study helps answer that question, based on a test of gene activity in tumors. It found that nearly half of women with early-stage breast cancer who would traditionally receive chemo can avoid it, with little risk of the cancer coming back or spreading in the next five years.

The so-called genomic test measures the activity of genes that control the growth and spread of cancer, and can identify women with a low risk of recurrence and therefore little to gain from chemo.

“More and more evidence is mounting that there is a substantial number of women with breast cancer who will not need chemotherapy to do well,” said Dr. Rachel A. Freedman, a breast cancer oncologist at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. She was not involved in the study.

9/11 Health Crisis: Death Toll from Illness Nears Number Killed on Day of Attacks

[From the film, "Dust to Dust":  Officials of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency time and again declared that the site of the area of the wreckage was “not a health hazard”. The agency had only taken 10 air samples in the first few days and certain toxins were not tested. It was later established, however, that the ruins contained over 2,500 contaminants, including:

- Over 400 tons of asbestos
- 90,000 liters of jet fuel containing benzene
- Mercury from over half a million fluorescent lights
- 200,000 pounds of lead and cadmium from personal computers
- Up to 2 million pounds of PAH from diesel-fueled fires
- 130,000 gallons of transformer oil containing PCBs
- Crystalline silica from 420,000 tons of concrete, sheetrock and glass]

9/11 health crisis: death toll from illness nears number killed on day of attacks
by Joanna Walters in New York, The Guardian, 11 September 2016

At least 1,000 people have died from illnesses tied to exposure to debris

Number poised to exceed initial death toll ‘within five years’, expert says

The death toll among those sickened by the toxic dust and ash of Ground Zero will within as little as five years exceed the number of people killed on the day of the 9/11 attacks, experts say.

As those who lost loved ones at the World Trade Center, at the Pentagon and on Flight 93 gather for Sunday’s 15th anniversary of the terror attacks that killed almost 3,000 people, a post-9/11 health crisis is growing.

Renowned Harvard Psychologist Says ADHD is Largely a Fraud

"Every child who is having problems in school is sent to see a pediatrician, who then claims it’s ADHD and prescribes Ritalin. 'In fact, 90 percent of these 5.4 million kids don’t have an abnormal dopamine metabolism. The problem is, if a drug is available to doctors, they’ll make the corresponding diagnosis'."

Renowned Harvard Psychologist Says ADHD is Largely a Fraud

by Carolanne Wright, Contributing writer for Wake Up World, 9 September 2016

Viewed by academics as one of the most influential psychologists of the 20th century, Jerome Kagan ranked above Carl Jung (the founder of analytical psychology) and Ivan Pavlov (who discovered the Pavlovian reflex) in a 2002 American Psychological Association ranking of the eminent psychologists. He is well-known for his pioneering work in developmental psychology at Harvard University, where he has spent decades documenting how babies and small children grow, and is an exceptional and highly-regarded researcher.
